IN YOUR PRESENCE
In Your Presence was written out of a desire to be closer to God. I remember working an overnight job and crying out to God about having a deeper relationship with Him and drawing nearer to Him. Out of this longing, God whispered this song in my ear. This song was further developed in the basement of Howard University with the help of fellow classmate Paul Mitchell. The song developed as a worship song to usher God's people into his presence.
NEVER REPAY YOU
Never Repay You was written in the basement of Howard University in one of the piano rooms. Before this song was written, I wondered how I would stay at Howard and complete my education. I had no money to pay my balance. One of my professors told me to ask the department head if there were any scholarship funds available to pay my balance. I inquired and the balance was paid in FULL! I went to the basement of the music room and begin to cry as God released this song in my spirit.
